NEW DR. PEALE FILM FOR MAY 4, "NO FEAR OF ANYTHING."27-04-2016
Dr. Peale once wrote, "There is a passage in the forty-first chapter of Iasaiah which takes my fancy. It's just a fragmant of the thirteenth verse: 'I am the Lord your God. I am holding you by the hand, so don't be afraid.' Now the great thing is that if the Lord your God is holding you by the hand, you're not going to stray off the track, you're not going to get into a mess, you're not going to destroy yourself. You're going to go ahead successfully. A man asked me one day what I thought was the greatest fact in the whole world. That's a big question, so I employed the Socratic method and threw it back to him. 'You tell me,' I said. 'It's this,' he replied, 'We are not alone.' And I had to admit that he was hitting very close to the essential, basic, fundemental fact. In this world of change, in this world of conflict, in this world of insecurity, we are not alone." Join us on May 4 anytime between 11:30am - 3pm for the film "No Fear of Anything." The prayer chapel and exhibits will be open all day as well. | Bookmark
